Hidden History Audit

Is your organisation planning anything for Black History Month this October?

Wondering where to start doing something meaningful?

Our Hidden Histories Audit can help.

History Moves! offers a practical, evidence‑rich event for all staff that connects overlooked women’s histories to workplace culture today.

We’ve put together a short deck with the outline, delivery options, and pricing (including reduced rates for charities, NHS bodies, and local authorities).

A few key monthly UK based history celebrations you could use as a springboard for forward planning are:

  • February: LGBTQIA+ History Month

  • March: Women's History Month (International Women's Day is 8 March)

  • May: Local History Month

  • July: South Asian Heritage Month

  • September: East & South East Asian Heritage Month

  • October: Black History Month

  • 19 November is International Men's Day

  • Disability History Month

  • Mid November is Equal Pay Day, marking the day women effectively stop earning compared to men.

  • In 2028, it will be the 100th anniversary of ALL British women finally getting the right to vote. They first got to use this right on 30 May 1929!

If anything on our history list piques your interest, we can design you a session with a difference that will make you and your colleagues think!
